    It's ok I figured out a different way. Wen u have to pick the credit card type u select none.

    Don't try to sign in first when you want to redeem your card. Make sure that you are sign out and then go to the iTunes Store and click Redeem on the far right. The just put in your code and then a window will pop out so that you can sign in. Then it will show that balance of the card on the top next to your email.
