  3. Lou Forrest is a frigging loser. He ran out on his wife and kids and fled to another country to avoid several hundred thousand dollars in unpaid child support.

  12. Yep and at the time, Channel 6 had a very short stick. They built a taller tower a couple of years later.

  15. WOW that brings back many memories of Channel 6 News. I was like eight yrs old. I remember when Carol left and went over to BNS for the main anchor gig! Michelle retired in 1991 and was replaced by Deborah Countiss. 6 was in second place with Oprah lead in and did beat 10TV in the late 80's. It always wasn't in the gutter! As for now Sinclair owns it shall I say more...............

  16. Yeah, they beat Channel 4 in the ratings around 1980 to 1983 or so. Then I think they were neck and neck with Channel 10 around 1989 to 1991 or so.

  17. It actually has, very slightly, though you'd probably have to look at them side-by-side to notice the difference.

  18. Channel 6 was *ever* competitive? Seems like it's always been at the mercy of 4 and (especially) 10...

  19. Just so you know, the 6 logo has not changed in 20 years.
